Property Cleanup
(PC Property Cleanup Charge on Water Bill)
Holdenville's Cleanup Effort:
Over 60 Abandoned Houses Removed

Since August 2023, the City of Holdenville has made major strides in revitalizing our community by removing more than 60 abandoned houses. This effort has helped eliminate unsafe and unsightly structures, making neighborhoods safer and opening up new possibilities for development and beautification.
How the Program Is Funded
This cleanup initiative is made possible through long-standing community support:
-
A $2.00 “PC Property Cleanup” fee, included on the Holdenville Water Bill
-
A $500 charge to the property owner, or a lien placed on the property, when applicable
These combined efforts allow the city to take action on properties that pose safety and visual concerns.
