K-9 Unit

​K-9 ZEUS, is a Belgian Malinois joined the Holdenville

Police Department in November 2024. After completing an intensive 280 hour basic training course with officer Dylan Hale. Zeus is certified by Oklahoma Law enforcement Education and Training in narcotics detection.

K-9 Zeus and Officer Hale form a dedicated law enforcement team, patrolling the community and responding to requests for K-9 assistance from fellow Holdenville officers and surrounding agencies. Their partnership is strengthened through continuous training, ensuring they are always prepared for any situation that arises. Regular drills and refresher courses help Zeus maintain his exceptional scent

detection abilities, which are crucial in the ongoing battle against illegal narcotics. Together, they not only support routine patrols but also take an active role in combating drug-related crimes by staying at
